My mother and I joined a guided "Northern Lights hunt". During the day, there was no sleeping - relaxation was a foreign word on this trip - instead, we explored Tromsø and the surrounding area, always on the hunt for a photo opportunity: reindeer, shipwrecks, and more.
During the five nights, one location after another was searched to find the perfect Northern Lights and/or location. We stopped in the middle of mountain ranges (and could observe crazy people night-skiing), by the sea, on a hill, and on a road with a bridge over the fjord.
