I was asked if I could crochet a rhynchocyon. At that moment, I didn’t even know what a rhynchocyon was. Now I know, it’s a small, cute animal that you can also see at the Zoo Basel. Since these animals are really cute and don't have a very complex body structure, I decided to try it and croche a rhynchocyon. After some back and forth, I decided to crochet the rhynchocyon entirely in brown.

For the body, I also used a very thin but fluffy black yarn in addition. For the legs, I used wire wrapped with stuffing wool to ensure that the rhynchocyon really can stand.

  body

I crocheted the "body" with double threads, using a thin, fluffy black yarn in addition to the brown yarn.

It is worked from the rear end to the neck, so we start with both yarns. Only from R9 onwards are stitches crocheted with brown yarn only.
